About Managing People and Work

Become the manager is a privilege as you will need to manage not only your own work but also other people work. Performance management is the key to a successfull team to achieve the goals.

The essensce of managing lies in few key points only: your goals and your resources. More resources you likely will be able to achieve the goals faster with more quality. So here you need to remember on managing your work and managing people:
- always set clear expectation on the quality of work - set the deadline when your people should finish it. You should record and monitor this. Things happened and sometime they just can not finish it. If its not urgent it should be ok BUT they must come to you to tell it.
-If they can hit achieve the deadline you should ask why....and you have to ask wheter resource problem? And if it is you need to use find the solution.
-Its also will show haw your people plan thair job.
- During monitoring or performance review you can explain to them what they achieve and not. Remember to record down.
- Record down: task, deadline, update deadline.

So once again its about empowering, deadline and time management,resources and monitoring and recording
